Mr. Fantasy, by Lake Lady, is a sensual trip hop song that draws inspiration from Lake Lady's early songwriting influencers: Massive Attack, Portishead and Sneaker Pimps.
She wrote and recorded her sultry vocals and then Oshro composed the dynamic beat around them. As co-producers, they sent the mixes back and forth to one another, from the Bay Area to L.A., until they found the sweet spot between 50 Shades of Grey and James Bond level sexiness and David Lynch meets Charlie Brooker level moodiness. They then sent it off to get mastered by Piper Payne. The haunting cover art image is by Melton Cartes.
